The original tarmac had broken up and was holding standing water across the middle of the drive. We stripped it out, laid a fresh permeable base and finished in a golden resin-bound blend with a charcoal block border and a white chipping margin along the edge.
A period property with a worn gravel frontage that had spread onto the pavement and lost its edges. The area was excavated, a new compacted sub-base laid with a fresh charcoal block border, then finished in a pearl gold blend.
On these two the photos were taken once the old surface had already been lifted, so they show the prepared base rather than the original driveway.
The front garden was cleared and excavated back to a clean formation before the new base went in. It was finished in an Eclipse blend — a dark charcoal-toned resin — with a block-paved border running along the road edge.
